Easy Step by Step Solutions for Achieving Your Goals

I honestly just want to talk to you about goal setting in general. I wish more people would realize that they can get the things they think about, or dream about, or wish for. Carefully read this article and then decide which action you're going to take.

First of all, in today's world of instant gratification, more people than not don't want to go through the process that's required to achieve their goals. Oh yes, the majority of people do have goals. These goals float in and out of their head, but are never enacted upon. There's many reasons for not taking any action, but the main one is, they're really not sure how to achieve a goal.

You might say that you don't have any goals, so you're not worried about accomplishing something right now. You're just too busy at work, or home, to think about setting  goals. The fact is, we all have some dream or desire that we think about rather often, but since we have convinced ourselves that we're too busy right now, we just brush it off.

Think about all the things that you see during the day, at work, at home, while you're on the road travelling, or waiting in some airport, and you think, I'd like to have that, or do that, or go there. Once again, you just brush it off, no matter how many times the dream or desire enters our mind.

Oh sure, you have you're trusty daily planner full of things that MUST be done, and you call them your goals list, so you're convinced that you're constantly accomplish goals. These are not really goals, because they're things that have to be done. They're not a dream or desire of yours!

None of us ever had any formal training in the art of setting and achieving goals, and I've shouted for years that it should be part of every educational systems curriculum. Since it isn't, most people have no idea as to how to go about realizing most of their dreams. These dreams are really everyone's goals, even though they don't think of them that way.

If we can get everyone to realize that they don't have to shrug off every dream they have, and show them how to turn those dreams into reality, we will have done our job. So don't let yourself be just "one of the crowd" anymore. Let us show you how to change your life for the better, and step above the crowd!

Powerful Goals That Changed Our Lives

I think that we all have some sort of goal, or desire, or wish that we would like to achieve some day. It’s just human nature that we would have these individual feelings about something we would like to do, or become.
Maybe it’s something you have carried with you since childhood or just realized. Perhaps you were dealt a lousy hand as a child and always knew you wanted to change your life someday.

We all walk around with hidden feelings, and sometimes we divulge them to our closest friends just to get their opinion about what we’re thinking. This could be an admirable thing, but more times than not, it’s an obstacle. The reason I say this is, sometimes the person you’re talking to just wants you to stay as you are for personal reasons, or maybe some jealousy. It’s not to be mean, it’s just our nature.

It’s when you realize that if you’re ever going to accomplish some of these hidden desires, you have to decide that you’re going to do it no matter what anyone says or thinks. It’s only then that you will have the conviction to move forward, and know that no obstacles of any kind are going to get in your way!
When you get this frame of mind, you will have the single mindedness to know you are going to start a journey that only you can do, and nothing is going to stop you. This is the state of mind that’s required to achieve any goal in your life. When you reach this state, you’ll know it, and it will be your driving force!
Single mindedness is the art of having one over-riding purpose or goal. This had to be the frame of mind for Alexander Bell, Thomas Edison, The Wright Brothers, Benjamin Franklin, and all the other brilliant inventors of our time.

I’m also sure that these fabulous inventors had drawn up plans, put them on paper, and began their journey to achieve their mission (Goals). Perhaps without even realizing it, they were setting goals and developing plans (strategies) that would allow them to realize their dreams.

I’m confident they had volumes of notes about everything they were doing, or about to do. If something they had written down didn’t work, they just crossed it out and penciled in a new plan (strategy). One thing is certain; they would not be stopped from achieving their goal by any obstacle! Thus, we have the telephone, electricity, powered airplanes, and electric light bulbs.

Now it’s your time to get that same mindset, and go after your dreams, and we can show you how!

Achieve Every Goal Easily Using Our Guaranteed Goal Setting Process

Most Managers, Teachers, Administrators, Chief Executive Officers,  Coaches, Principals, Fund Raisers, etc., set goals for their subordinates, and the majority of the subordinates have never had any training about how to achieve a goal. So you see, there's a problem right here and no one is addressing it. Having said this, then it’s no wonder why most goals fail!

This is prevalent throughout society, and there has never been a concerted effort in our educational system to change it. We just keep handing out lofty goals, such as, Teacher goals for Students, Supervisor goals for Workers, Manager Goals for Supervisors, Coaches goals for Players, CEO goals for Managers, Parent goals for Students, Principal goals for Teachers, and the majority of those responsible for attaining the goals are groping for answers as to how to reach them.

Notice that I haven’t mentioned the Military, and the reason is most military schools do teach the art of setting and accomplishing goals. They are also remarkably passionate about teaching strategic planning, which is the most essential ingredient related to achieving goals.  So if that’s the case, why can’t the scholars and administrators of our educational system take a page out of the Military book and create a similar curriculum? If it’s that powerful in the military schools, then there has to be a compelling reason, right? Not only is it necessary, it’s essential!

Bottom line is we won most wars because of our Military Generals, and their understanding of how to determine what the “mission” should be, and what strategic plan has to be implemented to ensure the success of this mission, or goal.  The military teaches these subjects because they know how necessary it is for their Leaders to have this information when they’re engaged in a military conflict.

Therefore, if it’s so critical in the military world, then why not in our everyday life, that we teach goal setting and strategic planning? Otherwise, how can we have people setting goals for other people to achieve and the “other people” have never been educated in this area? It just doesn’t add up! You just can’t ask a sales person to increase their sales by 15% without giving them some idea as to how they’re going to do it. If they had been taught the proper “process” of accomplishing goals, then you can hold them accountable for achieving them.

Every student would be well-served if they were taught how to create and achieve goals. It would give them the confidence and the means to see what they must do when they want to achieve something personally, or in their business lives. This is a gift they would bring with them for the rest of their lives! Whenever someone said to do something by a certain date, they wouldn’t be intimidated.

So let’s stop thinking that setting goals and writing strategic plans are only for the military, and see how useful it can be to everyone! These subjects deserve to be taught in our high schools and universities across this great country, so let’s push to make this a reality!!
